CasteelArt Community Guidelines

Every new community site features a certain level of trust. We trust you to be responsible, and millions of users respect that trust, so please be one of them. Here are some common-sense rules that will help you steer clear of trouble:

  • CasteelArt is not against provocative art. But any form of pornography or pictorials denigrating people or animals will not be posted.
  • Respect copyrights. Only upload art, music and literature that you made or that you are authorized to use. This means don't upload anything you didn't make, or use content that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, written material, visual art, inventions etc. without necessary authorizations. To register a copyright, go to www.copyright.gov
  • We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express unpopular points of view. But we do not permit hate speech (speech which attacks or demeans a group based on race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age and sexual orientation/gender identity).
  • There is zero tolerance for predatory behavior, stalking, threats, harassment, invading privacy, or the revealing of other members' personal information.
  • Everyone hates spam. Do not create misleading descriptions, tags, titles or thumbnails in order to increase views. It's not okay to post large amounts of un-targeted, unwanted or repetitive content, including comments and private messages.
  • Please take these rules seriously and take them to heart. Don't try to look for loopholes or try to lawyer your way around them—just understand them and try to respect the spirit in which they were created.
  • CasteelArt has the right to refuse any submissions for any reason.
  • Violations of the Terms of Use may result in a warning notification or termination of your account. If your account is terminated you are prohibited from creating any new accounts.
  • CasteelArt provides a marketplace and display forum but has absolutely no culpability for any part of financial transactions between parties. Any and all sales of works of art and products are strictly between artists and customers. CasteelArt is not liable for wrong or misleading content of subscribers or displayed material in gallery.
  • CasteelArt is a art display site only. The terms, price, shipping and authentication of items which are bought and sold are solely between buyer and seller.
