Over the past few years, James has been working with oil pastels and colored pencil on paper. He is instinctual and focused when working on his art, usually accompanied by music. His work is closely influenced by the primitive art of the ancient world, as seen by his use of color and intricate patterns. James is currently working on his portfolio for his future shows.
